What are the main components of a transmission?
1. Transmission shaft: Its responsibility is to guide the power generated by the engine to the transmission section.
2. Gear set: Composed of numerous gears, it aims to regulate the transmission of power and the change of torque through different gears.
3. Drive shaft: It is responsible for continuing to transfer the power processed by the transmission to the vehicle's drive wheels or diverter.
4. Engagement device (clutch) : It can control the connection and disconnection between the transmission shaft and the drive shaft, thereby assisting in the shift of gears.
5. Locking device (brake) : It functions during gear shifting by locking the drive shaft to prevent unnecessary sliding of the vehicle.
6. Hydraulic control system: This system is in charge of the engagement and disengagement operations of the clutch and brake, and also involves the overall regulation of the transmission.
7. Central Electronic Controller (ECU) : It comprehensively monitors and regulates all operations of the transmission, such as determining the timing of gear shifting and adjusting the throttle response, etc.
